Digital Building Surveying

Floor plans, sections and elevations of buildings and constructions can be created using a variety of methods. Straightforward techniques such as scanning existing documents produce quick and reasonable results, however these are not as reliable as a direct building survey using tacheometric surveying equipment.

The scope and choice of measuring technique depends upon the documentation already available, needs of the client and the complexity of the building to be measured. Digital building surveying usually involves tacheometry undertaken with modern surveying equipment for direct digital transfer to CAD systems.

Facility Management

Facility management is the consideration, analysis and optimisation of all cost-relevant processes involved with a building, a structural construction or a service offered by a company (when not part of the business' core competence). Definition courtesy of the Society for Facility Management.

Building management as a part of facility management concerns the management of existing building stock and associated general services. At a practical level it concerns the effective administration and operation of existing buildings.

A prerequisite for a survey is a system specification detailing the specific individual requirements of the client. Accurate floor plans provide the basis for determining quantities and areas as well as for the allocation of equipment, furnishings and technical installations.

Engineering Surveying

Engineering surveying includes all technical measurements connected with the planning, marking and monitoring of buildings and building complexes. These include land surveys (maps of area), marking of principal axis geometry and bench-marks, site measurement control, securing of evidence and deformation measurements.

Property Descriptions and Exposés

Potential buyers or tenants mostly make their decisions depending on their first visual impression of the object. Successful real estate placement requires a good exposé.

We offer descriptions of real property and their locations in form of power point presentations or Exposés. They contain text, photographs and drawings to give an impression of the building, the interior and the surroundings. As a team of engeneers and architects we are able to create alternatives for utilisation of property -showed in form of illustrated plans.

The exposés we create contain short verbal descriptions about the buildings and rooms with photographs, plans/drawings, asking prices and other informations. It could be just a one-page description and is usually being sent to customers by estate agents or can be printed or saved on a web site.
